Behavioural questions ask you to describe a real past situation, and the STAR method gives your answer a clear, easy-to-follow shape.
Situation
Briefly set the scene — where, when, and what the context was.
Task
What were you responsible for or trying to achieve?
Action
What did you specifically do? This is the longest part of your answer.
Result
What happened? Use numbers or concrete outcomes where you can.
Prepare 5–6 stories in advance
Have a handful of solid examples ready that you can adapt to different questions (teamwork, conflict, failure, leadership, problem-solving).
